AAA = remember when it happened
BBB = remember when I first learnt to tell the time.
=> Like XXX can BBB, XXX can AAA (not dropped)
Like I can remember when I first learnt to tell the time,
I can remember when it happened

我能記得那件事何時發生。
=> Like XXX cannot BBB, XXX cannot AAA (not restored)

這是最原始的文句：
XXX = The United States

套用下去的結果：

Like the United States can take the position that she(Japan) had
not renounced Formosa and the Pescadores,

如同美國可以採取日本尚未放棄台澎的立場，
美國可以採取日本尚未放棄千島群島的立場。

都能翻錯翻成「日本不再放棄千島群島」了，還敢跟我講文法？
你知道甚麼是完成式嗎？國中就教過了吧？
has/have + 動詞過去分詞 － 代表過去的某個動作，到現在已經完成。
Japan has renounced the Kurile 日本已放棄千島群島
Japan has not renounced the Kurile 日本尚未放棄千島群島
請問「日本不再放棄千島群島」是怎麼冒出來的？
