所有男生都希望自己高大威猛,除了遺傳因素,其實飲食也很重要!
台灣女婿、來自荷蘭的韋岱思在《商業周刊》撰文,他說荷蘭人的平均身高是全世界之冠,
荷蘭男性平均身高為185公分,女性為170公分,但1860年荷蘭軍隊士兵的平均身高只有165
公分,同時期美國士兵平均身高達173公分,「短短150年的時間,荷蘭人平均身高增加15公
分,這實在是很驚人!」而荷蘭人究竟是怎麼長高的呢?
韋岱思解釋,第二次世界大戰後,荷蘭經濟快速成長,飲食習慣也進步了,以他現年15歲半
的外甥為例,身高已經179公分,韋岱思發現他的早餐是「一公升的牛奶加燕麥片,而且燕
麥片要多到整碗像水泥一樣濃」也就是早餐吃超飽,隨時補充高纖麵包;此外,韋岱思說他
們並沒有大量吃肉、也不太吃零食,「晚餐通常是米飯或馬鈴薯,加各種各樣的蔬菜,有時
候還加一個沙拉,每周大概只有一天吃魚、一天吃肉」。(即時新聞中心/綜合報導)
