Haven't tried with the patch, I was replaying to Bill's mail.

Yes, please do. I don't know how to generate my own iso.
It will take forever to do it on my 233MHz machine I have
running DFly.
Haven't have any need for it before now, I hope there some
docs for it in the handbook. Have to check it out.

Just did some physical testing.
1. Physically removed the SCSI controller from the slot.
2. Installed a SATA disk on the onboard Sil 3114 controller.
3. Booted the DFly CD
I got some
ad4: Timeout waiting for interrupt
and some messages about trying PIO mode until the kernel
finally decided to commit suicide (panic).
Something might be fishy with my motherboard, because
some people have reported (on the Solaris x86 maillist)
that Solaris runs with both SCSI and SATA together
on this motherboard. Might just be some BIOS settings.
I will download and test FreeBSD right away.
Would be cool if this worked.
