昨天寫信問了外國人... 對方是在Inverse.com上面許多TREK文章的作者Ryan Britt 看了他的回答好像就懂了！ To answer your question about "Arena." Kirk does mean the opposite: that the predator part of the human race is going away, and going to fade out in a thousand years. Kirk says "as predators go," sarcastically. He's being mildly "ironic" here by acknowledging that others might think of humans as "predators," but that he doesn't. Another example of Kirk being ironic or sarcastic about the nature of humanity to prove a point comes in the episode "A Taste of Armageddon."
