有個八堵朋友感嘆的說,八堵是一等站,對號列車卻少的可憐,以前還會停一些東部幹線列
車,現在幾乎都不停靠了,身為往平溪的始發班次站,也逐漸被海科館站取代。
可是我查到八堵是二等站,平常人次也不多,臺北以南要往東部的旅客幾乎都在松山換車,
基隆要往花東的乘客也大多在車次比較多的七堵上車。
八堵曾經是一等站嗎?

不是對八堵有偏見,只是客觀環境而言,八堵幾乎沒機會在增停對號列車,
如果能夠讓八堵減少,而且讓七堵能停比原先七堵八堵加起來還多的東部幹線對號列車,
這對常常往花東跑的整個基隆市的市民難道不是好事嗎?
