Re: [問題]葡萄糖胺療效淺 破維骨力神話
自己簡單查了Harrison 內科聖經第17版,去年上市,
有關OA治療的章節,發現Glucosamine sulfate
與chondroitin sulfate這二類藥物,沒有被列在書中治療的章節內討論~~
再簡單查閱Washington Manual 治療手冊第33版(英)今年五月上市,
內容寫到:
1.The data for glucosamine sulfate,1500mg PO daily, is "contradictory".
2."Some studies" suggest it may reduce symptons as well as the rate of
cartilage deterioration,especially with the preparations used in Europe.
3.Some studies suggest chondroitin sulfate may also be of benefit.
我們比較第31版的Washington Manual 治療手冊第31版,內容上有很大的差異
第31版是簡單寫到glucosame sulfate 可以減少症狀,還可以減緩軟骨破壞的速度~~
因此,新聞報導的內容,的確值得注意,可見Glucosamine sulfate有沒有效
目前看起來是有"爭議性",現在不宜告知OA病人,這個藥物是有效的
而應該是""有些研究表示有效,有些研究沒有效"'
而chindroitin sulfate在31版沒有提到,現在新版提到有些研究"may be benefit"
則可以建議病人考慮其療效~~~
