It all depends on your purposes of attending the confernce.
In addition to presentation, for some people, it's important to meet peers during the meeting, for others, it's important
to listen to talks which are of interest to them. But believe me, tons of people use the opportunity to have fun, living in good hotels, eating delicious food, having fun in the places near the conference.
