Chipper Jones hints at retirement after '12 Chipper Jones indicated Monday that he is thinking about retirement following the season. "I don’t know what next year entails," said Jones, who turns 40 in April. "I don’t know if I can make it through this year." Jones acknowledged that this has been the most physically challenging camp of his career, especially in regard to his balky right knee.
