這段文字裡充滿often 、or等等文字，顯見並沒有一個明確的說法。
沒有國家因而視作方言，和「由政府」決定也還是不同，只能說有沒有作官方語會
是一個可能的參考因素。
可以實際上去看看西方關於語言的網站或著作，大多不是以政治考量，而
很少會把閩南語、吳語、粵語這些語言視作dialect的。
另外講到national language，其實全世界有national language的國家大概不到三分之一
大多只有official language，少數國家像美國瑞典甚至沒有正式規定的全國官方
語言（當然實質上還是英語、瑞典語）
而舉個例子，即使沒有作官方語，美國人也絕不會稱北美原住民的幾種語言作方言，
我們也不會說泰雅語是方言。
