in making the cards balanced and fun to play. The ideal candidate
has experience in either attaining Legendary status in Hearthstone
or has attained top 8 in a pro tour for Magic the Gathering.
The ideal candidate loves playing games and can articulate well
why a game design decision is a good or bad.
Requirements
* Legendary status in Hearthstone
* Self-driven and a great team-player
* Analytical mindset
* Good communications skills, both verbal and written
* A passion for video games, especially Blizzard Entertainment products
* A passion for playing collectible card games
Pluses
* Experience designing or developing games
* Experience designing cards for existing collectible card games

我不知道 "associate" 這個字的中文翻譯,它比 assistant 高級一
些,比 senior 低。整篇看下來,並沒有對「實作能力」有特別要求
,然而,有以下幾個重點

能詳盡敘述解釋「為什麼」
Analytical mindset
抽絲剝繭、追根究底的精神
Good communications skills, both verbal and written
雙向溝通的技巧
易言之,如果想當企畫,就算沒有程式、美術、音樂等能力,至少要
從「歸納分析匯整」練起,「大膽假設,小心求證」,並且要有流利
的「說服、聆聽、細讀、寫作」能力

這個職缺一不要求學位二不要求工作經驗 (有經驗是會加分,但「有
經驗會加分」是天下通則) ,只要你能證明你對這遊戲有深入了解,
且分析論述能力,就能申請參與設計這遊戲未來的走向...
若這不是給新鮮人的職缺…什麼才是給新鮮人的職缺? :D

不太可能找個完完全全什麼都不會, 連遊戲本身都一知半解的「新鮮
人」, 總是得設個基本條件限制 :)

與其說潛規則,倒不如說是「整個求職過程」並不是 exact science,
不是像考試一樣選了正確答案就能得分
從 resume & cover letter 寫作,到面試臨場反應,談話應對,當
時業界趨勢…等等,有太多變數

這時候就是「潛規則」有利的地方: 機會屬於勇於嚐試的人
如果只有 Ogre Magi, 那…大概沒救了;如果有昇到 Molten Giant
且在其他方面有吸引人之處,例如,在別的卡牌遊戲的經驗,仍有機
會
