trump在此指更好的一招
這段的大意是說:僱用更多人工, 不如提高員工對顧客需求的敏感度
making more of your staff to respond to your customers' needs
beats (i.e. trumps)
hiring more staff/bodies
"getting more staff to show behavior..." = "what" trumps getting more bodies
僱用更多員工是一個法子
但什麼法子更勝過這個法子呢
就是使(現有)員工更意識顧客的需要
