屏東縣霧台鄉唯一對外聯絡橋樑伊拉橋,在莫拉克風災遭到土石流沖毀,經過1023天施工
搭建,現在這座新橋霧台谷川大橋,即將在10月5日週六正式對外通車,根據了解這座橋
面厚度加上橋墩和地基總長99公尺,相當於33層樓高,這也是全台最高的大橋,對霧台居
民來說以後進出霧台更加方便,通車後勢必將帶動地方觀光商機。
3年前八八風災,無情土石流將台24縣伊拉橋整個地基淘空,造成橋樑損毀,無力撐住橋
面,整個崩塌,公路總局斥資7億元,經過1023天每天派人施工搭建,全新的「霧台谷川
大橋」,現在它即將在國人面前展現史上最浩大工程。
仔細看這座霧台谷川大橋,上方橋厚達5.6公尺,光是橋墩就高達74.5公尺,再加上下方
看不見的地基19公尺,總長99公尺,成為目前全台最高墩柱橋,橋樑相當於33層樓高。交
通部公路總局段長陳永興:「開挖是最困難的,因為深基礎的開挖,裡面隱藏的因素很多
,伏流水、湧沙。」
新建霧台谷川大橋,原本霧台對外交通中斷形成孤島,公路總局緊急修復,現在已經完工
,原本伊拉橋長53.5公尺,霧台谷川大橋長達654公尺,不僅橋長贏過全台各大重要大橋
,就連橋墩高度99公尺更是,遠遠超越五楊46公尺,北宜67公尺,和國道三號30公尺高度
。
陳永興:「霧台鄉以後,他對外可以永遠免除變成孤島的命運。」
交通部不諱言,週六即將通車的霧台谷川大橋,通車後勢必吸引遊客前往觀光,帶動商機
。
