一個月2000美金以上的房租實在是太令人崩潰了 >""""""< ==========================以下是UAH的網頁說明,可略========================= (很抱歉該網頁要有學校的密碼才能點入,因此附上原說明) *Lenfest Hall, 425 West 121st Street* The most recent example of alumni commitment to enhancing the quality of student life at the Law School is Lenfest Hall, a gift of H.F. (Gerry) Lenfest ’58 and his wife, Marguerite. Lenfest Hall, the Law School’s newest student residence, is a high-rise building located on 121st Street between Amsterdam Avenue and Morningside Drive. Lenfest’s 209 student residences are home to single students, couples, and families, and include 184 private studio/efficiency apartments, ranging in size from 320 to 412 square feet, and 25 one-bedroom apartments, ranging from 380 to 648 square feet. One-bedroom apartments are used to house families and, when possible, couples; studios/efficiencies are used to house couples and, when possible, single students. Some apartments include terraces, many offering spectacular views of Morningside Park and historic Riverside Church, while others look onto Lenfest’s private bamboo garden or West 121st Street. Lenfest apartments are fully furnished with carefully designed, space-saving furniture that can accommodate a variety of arrangements and functions. Each apartment has its own kitchen and bathroom. The building's amenities include 24-hour door attendants; such public spaces as a lounge, game room and study areas; Ethernet and campus phone service in each apartment; and wireless Internet connections in the garden and public areas. Additional information on Lenfest Hall is available on its website. If you are interested in Lenfest Hall, please indicate Lenfest in the “Comments” section of the UAH application. Rent is billed by term. Prorated on a monthly basis, 2012–13 costs are as follows: efficiencies/studios from $1,881 to $2,195 per month; one-bedroom apartments from $1,907–$2,560 per month. *Lionsgate, 520 West 112th Street* Lionsgate is a high-rise building located at 520 West 112th Street between Amsterdam Avenue and Broadway, four blocks from the Law School. The university owns a limited number of furnished and unfurnished efficiencies/studios; small and large one-bedroom apartments; and two-bedroom apartments, some of which have been converted to three bedrooms and are generally assigned to three students to share. Each apartment has its own kitchen (most with dishwashers and built-in microwave ovens) and bathroom (some of the two-bedroom apartments have two bathrooms). Many units have terraces with beautiful views of the surrounding neighborhood. Lionsgate has a 24-hour door attendant, as well as other building amenities. Single students, couples, and students with children may apply for Lionsgate. Since vacancies are limited, interested law students should indicate their preference for Lionsgate in the “Comments” section of the UAH application. Rent for Lionsgate is billed monthly, and utilities are not included in the rent. Monthly rents for the 2012–13 academic year are as follows: $1,123 to $1,829 per bedroom in a two- or three-bedroom share; $2,377 to $2,456 for an efficiency/studio unit; and $2,795 to $3,031 for a one-bedroom unit. *West 115th and 116th Streets* West 115th and 116th Streets between Amsterdam Avenue and Morningside Drive feature pre-war apartment buildings for law students only. The majority of the units are apartment shares in which three students share the common areas (living room, kitchen and bathroom) of an apartment, with each having an adjacent private bedroom. The majority of these apartments are furnished, including Ethernet and campus phone service. Utilities are included in the rent. 420 West 116th Street is a nine-story, early 20th century building located on the same street as Jerome Greene Hall, the main Law School classroom building. This block is also home to several Law School faculty families, senior administrators and the President of Columbia University. In addition, 420 West 116th St. has furnished and unfurnished efficiency and one-bedroom apartments, with Ethernet and campus phone service. Utilities are not included in the rent. Students interested in any of these buildings should indicate West 115th and 116th Streets in the “Comments” section of the UAH application. Rent is billed monthly, and utilities may or may not be included in the rent. Monthly rents for the 2012–13 academic year are as follows: $1,097 to $1,385 per bedroom in a three-bedroom share; $1,541 to $1,803 for an efficiency/studio unit; and $1,620 to $2,168 for a one-bedroom unit. *Morningside Gardens Apartments* The Law School owns five apartments located in a co-op complex seven blocks north of the Law School in a square block bordered by 123rd and LaSalle Streets and by Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue. The apartments are located on the ground floor of the buildings in which they are located. The complex has its own security guards and a playground. There are two two-bedroom apartments, one one-bedroom apartment, and two studios/efficiencies. Apartments are furnished, including a stove, refrigerator, window blinds, and wall and ceiling light fixtures. Linens, kitchen utensils, and lamps are not provided. Primary consideration for these apartments is given to couples, especially those with children. Rent is billed by term. Gas and electricity are included. Prorated on a monthly basis, 2012–13 costs are as follows: $1,411 per bedroom in apartment shares; $2,164 for the two-bedroom units (total); $1,915 for the one-bedroom unit; and $1,475 for the studios/efficiencies. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 118.166.192.82 ※ 編輯: chris10913 來自: 118.166.192.82 (04/07 21:53)
