不知大家對這議題看法怎樣,如果台中BRT確定降級成公車專用道,
等於宣告失敗,那這對以後台灣的大眾運輸會不會有不好的影響?
畢竟台灣對公共運輸長久不重視,錯誤政策導致使用率偏低,想在短時間內重新建立密集的軌道運輸網,有其困難性,
而大眾運輸路權越高,越不容易受到其他交通工具影響,但同樣價格也越貴,
目前台灣財政狀況其實也不太充裕,可以支持個縣市都蓋MRT。
何況軌道捷運還要考慮地形、人口分布等條件,也不是說蓋就能蓋。
相較之下,BRT成本低很多,像台灣這樣大眾運輸使用率還不高的地方,其實是很不錯的選擇,
但如果台中BRT宣告失敗,對未來有意引進BRT的縣市,會不會造成負面影響?然後台灣之後就沒人想蓋BRT了?
目前國內的BRT要屬台中規格最高,第一次引進月台門、車外收費,
如果這些機電設施能發揮功能,加上行控正常,確實可以達到接近捷運的品質,
所以大家認為如果台中確定失敗,之後台灣的公共運輸會如何發展呢?
當然是希望能盡速改善這些問題,但林市長也說過降級也是可能的選項,
因此想聊聊大家對這問題的看法。
