開頭應該是省略了the fact..整句的大意是
(儘管)許多律師的(壞)名譽來自(推翻)過最嚴肅且自律的(好的)案件的這個事實
並不能(排除)發現仍然有同時遵守法律及道德操守的(好的)律師的可能性。
(Many are "bad" does not mean all are bad)
簡化之後的句子= The fact that many are "not good" does not ____ discovery of
some are good
所以可以推出第二空格應該是負面類似deny的動詞..選preclude
