前BMW性能部門擔當批評「雙B新車」導入太多「不實用、沒意義」的科技配備
近日,幾個我們耳熟能詳的豪華品牌不知為何竟掀起一陣隔空喊話、互相「指教」的風潮,
先是BMW批評M.Benz最新推出的豪華貨卡「X-Class」很低劣,再來是AMG車隊紅人
Lewis Hamilton對外宣示M.Benz可以打造出比Ferrari更強的高階跑車。現在則輪到前任
BMW M Power性能部門總工程師Albert Biermann批評雙B為旗下豪華車導入太多無用、沒
意義的科技配備。
作為BMW昔日性能部門靈魂人物的Albert Biermann,早在1983年就加入BMW負責高性能車
款重點結構的研究與開發,於BMW集團服役年資超過30個年頭,並在2014年轉赴Hyundai
KIA集團擔任集團副總裁。
Albert向外媒表示Mercedes-Benz、BMW這兩個德系豪華品牌在新車開發上都放錯重點。
他認為不應該為了媒體曝光、對外展現科技實力,就一昧地推出看似很先進、功能酷炫的
科技配備。一來是這些科技配備雖然當下看起來很厲害、但消費者購入後卻不會頻繁使用,
發揮必需性;二來是因為這些配備牽扯著高端複雜的電子系統,不只需要頻繁更新,
也很容易壞,造成車主需要花費更高額的成本去保養。
Albert更進一步向外媒強調,比起雙B那般的行銷取向,現代集團更為客戶著想,並會盡
力打造出保值、品質歷久常新的新車。
