that是主格關係代名詞，先行詞是field
養成習慣看到句中兩個逗點夾成的單位暫時移除
原句變成...field of finance that often manages to be
再去除both（強調兩者都）
more intimate and more high-tech ...
其中of finance是介詞片語當形容詞後修飾field
也就是群眾集資這種財務手法（方式）
比傳統的募款方法來得更「私人」且更「有科技感」
（像是把願景和計畫內容放在網站供人瀏覽，認同者就會捐款）
因為透過網際網路實行這種募款方法
所以比起傳統擺攤挨家挨戶拜訪索取贊助來得更科技化了
又由於網路使用者個人線上就能捐款贊助（向是刷卡、Paypal）
所以拉近募款人和捐款人之間的距離，這就是intimate的意思
可以說親近當然也是更私人（不那麼容易公開）
比較「為難」一點的是manage to+原形動詞
這片語解釋成try hard and finally succeed in doing something hard
以原句來說
新興的網路群眾集資這種方式費了許多力氣時間
才終於讓人認同，取代了傳統的募款方法
畢竟在網路上把給人家需要克服一些心理障礙
人們總是相信眼見為憑的
只憑網頁幾個字表達理念就想獲得大眾捐錢贊助
比起傳統親自當面募款來得困難
企業家和夢想家一窩瘋群眾集資...

outsourcing叫「外包」
