其實好像不一定要緊接在後面？ 最近在GRE的書看到一段
That sex ratio will be favored which maximizes the number of descendants
an individual will have and hence the number of gene copies transmitted.
因為怕頭重腳輕，所以把will be favored搬到前面，which也沒有跟在sex ratio後面
如果還原的話會變成
That sex ratio which maximizes the number of descendants an individual will
have and hence (that sex ratio which maximizes) the number of gene copies
transmitted will be favored.
