he published the novel written for months這句話文法本身沒有錯
只是很少有人這樣用 所以語感上怪怪的
我用限定用法和非限定用法來解釋
1.非限定用法:
he published the novel[, which was written for months]
"the" novel 意味那個novel是特定的一本novel而不是隨便的"a" novel
後面的:[, which was written for months] 是補充說明
2.限定用法:
he published a novel[ written for months]
"a" novel 意味那個novel是隨便一本novel 我們還不知道它是怎樣的novel
後面的:[written for months]才告訴我們那個novel是怎樣的一本novel
我自己也還在學英文 覺得應該是這樣子 如果有錯請指正<(_ _)>
