we may... teach people to use it [這個it是free will這個名詞] to credit man...
我們仍可以教導人們用這個詞來獲得"自由意志"的概念，不是為升天，而是為了不墬入
地獄。
上面這一段沒看過前後語其實翻的還蠻心虛的...
: 人們相信與他們的自由意志有關的不是上面的天堂上帝，而是下面的地獄撒旦。
: 提問：drop...altogether的意思；teach people to use it的it是指good faith嗎?
: credit ... with 在這裡該怎麼解釋才會比較合乎文章的意思?
: 我對第二個的試譯看起來就很怪
這是因為沒看全文，無法了解Martin Luther的文中脈絡
: 有沒有人熟悉這個的作者(馬丁路德)，他到底是要表達什麼意思咧?
哲學板可能有人吧...
