I felt bad about returning the DVD because even though it had never been opened and still had the Costco price tag on it, I think it was probably purchased 6 – 10 months ago. So far, so good. She told me there was a guy that would return the Kirkland Dress Shirts with pit stains and then go and buy new ones. Everyone's Membership fees help cover losses. Some manufactures will give Costco some of money back. The manufacture then will refurbish the item. 基本上好事多的會員費就可以補足退貨的損失有些廠商會退錢有些廠商把東西拿回去整理後又再拿出來賣 Costco has over 55 million members if everyone was just $55.00 gold card members that would be $3.025 Billion. 好事多有5千5百萬個會員一人55塊年費會員費就30億美金了 Like what Mike said “…for Costco its purely statistical analysis…only a very small % of people actually pull this kind of stunt..” Costco does watch it. That's why they changed there policy on Electronics a few years ago. 像樓上講的只有少部分的人會濫用退貨機制但是好事多真的有在注意所以才會幾年前改變電子產品的退貨規定 Now back to shirt man, My sister said asked her manager about it. He told her that Costco’s policy is to take it back no questions and corporate watches everything that is returned. If someone greatly abuses the return policy a letter will be sent from corporate to the member letting them no there membership was canceled due to excessive abuse of the return policy.
