今天去學校拿我的I-797A
負責處理我的i-20人員說
auto revalidation是適用於有expired visa的人
但是我連visa都沒有 所以不適用在我身上
我有可能上船前就會因為沒有回來的visa被阻止上船
回來後上網查到一些資料

(ii) In cases where the original nonimmigrant classification of an alien
has been changed by USCIS to another nonimmigrant classification, the
validity of an expired or unexpired nonimmigrant visa may be considered to
be automatically extended to the date of application for readmission, and

請問這是否就是意味著我這種轉換身份的case 可以使用auto revalidation?
