[北美] HELP...H1B visa stamp
Dear All,
我有麻煩了, 想請大家集恩廣義一下:
我在美國的一家生技公司工作己經有8個月了, 一月中回台灣,
1/19/2011 去 AIT 辨H1B visa stamp, 不小心拿到黃單(其實是在預料中...)
之後經過約4個星期的等待, US Dept of State的人打電話給我美國公司的主管,
要他們 either fax a "Export Control Technology License" or applying for a new one
因為他們認為我從事"Export Control Technology" 所以需要有license

說了一下Export Control 對H1B employee 的重要性.
所以我的問題如下:
1) 請問這個Export Control License 是per person/employee, 還是per company
換句話說, 只要公司有這個license 就可以, 還是一定要用我的名義去申請?
2) 如果公司要申請license的話, 要多久時間呢? 我查了一下, 申請通常是要2-3個月, 這是正常的嗎? 還是可以有更快的方法辨理呢?
3) 如果真要2-3個月時間去申請, 請問我是不是可以先用B1簽證進入美國?
這個目的是 a) 我所有資料都在美國, this may help to apply for the license
b) 我想要先回美國公司去做一些實驗及趧公司的project進度, 我想...公司可能無法容忍這個嚴重的delay (3-4 months),
4) If the answer is Yes in 3), 則我有二個做法:
a) 等到這個license通過了, 而我的Administrative Processing己經complete,
之後再把我的護照寄回台灣, 請家人拿到AIT去貼H1B stamp
之後再把護照寄回美國給我; 或是,
b) 等到這個license通過了, 而我的Administrative Processing己經complete,
之後我再回台灣, 到AIT去貼H1B stamp
5) If the answer is Yes in 3), 我要用什麼理由去申請B1 Visa呢, 才會被AIT官員接受呢？
