Hi, the answer is yes and no. It depends on:
1)Whether your parents are LPR or Citizen, 2)How old are you, and 3) do
you get married.
If your parent(s) is Citizen and you are under 21 and unmarried, you are
"Immediate Relatives of UC Citizen" and can file GC immediately.
However, In your case, I would guess your parent(s) will not become citizen
before you turn 21. So:
------------
If your parents are US Citizen and you are over 21:
#If you are married, you are Third Preference (Married children of USC).
The current priority date is OCT98.
#If you are unmarried, you are First Preference (Unmarried sons or
daughters over 21 years of age of USC). The current priority date is JAN 98.

If your parents are still LPR and you are over 21:
#If you are married, you cannot file GC.
#If you are unmarried, you are Second Preference category B. (unmarried
children over 21 of LPR). The current priorty date is DEC 96.

I would strongly suggest you to consult an immigration lawyer on this
topic. Also I know there are several gurus on this issue on this
board, please correct me if I am wrong.
