[中英] 請教書信用語翻譯
因緣際會，替友人翻譯長者信件，
沒想到這信寫出來是正統的應用文書信格式！
小咖如我當時心頭一口血差點就要噴出來，
最後硬著頭皮譯完了......
但總覺得有許多不盡之處，還有錯誤，希望版上
能人可以給些意見。感謝大家。
以下原文節錄。
對這是推薦信。

西曆2012年新春初臨，虔祝。
The 2012 spring is freshly arriving, best wishes for the season.
貴校校運昌隆，教師們康祥清吉，諸事順遂，一如私禱。
Prosperous fortune for your honored school, sound health for the faculty,
and everything goes well as hoped.
（該生）認真學習積極閱讀史料，參與討論，發問應答及撰作書面報告，
表現脫俗，成績名列前茅，殊堪造就。
She is motivated in learning, earnest in reading historical materials,
and performs outstandingly in discussion, participation, question answering
and research paper writing. She has top grades and is expected to have
excellent developments.
☆我不會翻殊堪造就......而且無法把這句寫成一句。
小生曾親臨訪問（貴校），印象佳良深刻，並與 貴校諸教授結識益友，學恩彌厚。
I visited there myself, and was left with a deep and delightful impression.
Since then I have also became acquaintances and friends with the respected
professors in your honored school. Their academic resourcefulness is most
appreciated.
☆中間因有人名被我刪除，原文有「某某，某某諸教授」，這個「諸」字下得模稜兩
可，不知道就是指前面的某某與某某，還是某某之外還有更多某某......於是譯文
就加上「其他」。
☆這封信處處敬語，貴校可是有抬頭的，實在不好意思直呼人家其他教授others，
於是變成other respected ones，但這樣交情就不好說，於是才有acquaintances
and friends一語......但沒有「益友」的「益」。
☆「學恩彌厚」要怎麼翻譯？（哭）
