步驟一: 相同主詞[Many of coastline's lighthouses]省略
步驟二: [were]改[being]也可省略掉
步驟三: 判別題意究竟是被建造[Vpp] 還是主動建造[Ving]
(由題目推斷: 房子是被建造的 所以要保留過去分詞 [built])
而形成題目所看到的樣子 即是:
Built in the late 1800's, many of coastline's lighthouse(s)
remain standing today, having withstood the force of nature for decades.
此句也可寫成下列 (不省略[being])
Being built in the late 1800's, many of coastline's lighthouse(s)
remain standing today, having withstood the force of nature for decades.
