1. If X is normally distributed with mean 2 and variance 2, express
P[∣X-1∣≦2] in terms of the standard normal cumulative distribution
function.

express P[ X < -μ∣X <μ] in terms of the standard normal cumulative
distribution function.
My answer:
1. P[∣X-1∣≦2] = P[-2≦X-1≦2] = P[-1≦X≦3]
= P[(-1-2)/√2≦Z≦(3-2)/√2]
= P[-3/√2≦X≦1/√2]
= 0.7611 -0.0422
= 0.7189
這是我算的第一題，但我這樣不知是不是他所要求的答案
而第二題 P[ X<-μ∣X<μ]會等於 P[ X<-μ]嗎??
