( 為何不試著讓先發群再上陣？) P: No, because I didn't see any sense in it. ( 不，我不覺得那有任何意義！) Q: Why staters going to the bench early? ( 為何先發這麼快就下板凳區？) P: Thursday. ( 因為星期四 [要多休息] ) Q: How did the good start get away from you? ( 你不滿意馬刺先發球員的哪裡?) P: We didn't play smart on a consistent basis. All of a sudden we wanted to see if Serge [Ibaka] could block a shot. I thought about passing a picture out on the bench so they'd know who Serge was. Really unwise basketball all of a sudden. Instead of hitting open people that are out there, we started attacking the rim unwisely. That turns into blocked shots, we had seven turnovers in the first half, but it was really 14 because of the seven blocks. Those are all like turnovers, so that precipitated the 20 to nothing fast break points. You have to play smarter against such great athletes, they're talented obviously, but the athleticism and the length give them a small margin of error and you better be smart in the way you play. You can't afford to screw that up as many times as we did. And I think we have to play harder. I think they're playing more physically than we are, they're getting more 50/50 balls. They played with more determination than we did in these two games. ( 我們沒有聰明地打好一場球，忽然之間，我們都心存僥倖想看看18卡會不會打到火鍋，我真的很想在板凳席把18卡的照片傳給他們看，這樣他們才知道18卡是哪一個！真的忽然之間我們變得不會打聰明的球！我們不多傳導到空檔再出手，反而用很笨的方式攻擊籃框，然後就被蓋火鍋.... 雖然我們上半場只有7次失誤，但加上7個火鍋，實際上就是有14個！本來可以多拿20分的，但這樣一來就甚麼都沒了。對抗那些這麼棒的球員你必須要打得更聰明些，雖然馬刺球員都很有天分，但比賽的強度跟長度不允許他們犯太多的錯誤！我們螺絲真的要拴緊一點、打得更努力一點。我認為雷霆打的比我們更硬、更多有一半機率可以進的球。這兩場比賽他們打的比我們更為堅決) Q: On Westbrook and Durant defensively ( WB跟KD防守的怎麼樣? ) P: I thought they did a good job.
