For my personal point of view, he is a great writer.
However, his reader groups are very limited(white, male, well-educated.
age 35 t0 45...)
His reputation is hardly can transfer to a big sale. They said
he refused to soften his tune. That's good for his fans but I don't know
how to broaden the readers.
It's so competitive in the crime/detective fiction market, according to
what they said. But obviously, little brown decided to flip the coin.
Will his books be published in Taiwan recently?
