結果搞半天只是名越稔洋個人的意見啊, 說好的Sega呢?
名越稔洋是Sega製作人沒錯, 超級猴子球跟如龍都賣得很好
但是Sega的開發小組很多
名越頂多也只能代表他自己所屬的R&D創作辦公室說話而已
而在眾多遊戲製作人中, 名越稔洋也不算特別有地位
要舉這種例子, 我可以舉N個

這篇是遊戲界傳奇人物John Carmack(*)在說明為什麼Rage是一個console導向的遊戲
並因此在porting到PC上發生了種種困難的原因
他很簡單明確的表示
"We do not see the PC as the leading platform for games. That
statement will enrage some people, but it is hard to
characterize it otherwise; both console versions will have
larger audiences than the PC version."
"我們不認為PC是遊戲領導平台, 這可能會激怒一些人
但是這難以推翻: 兩個遊戲機版本都比PC版有更多玩家"
我倒是很想問問看名越, 如果他認為遊戲機市場變小
為什麼他還是堅持在遊戲機上開發?
這算是口嫌體正直嗎?
等哪天名越跑去開發 PC 遊戲, 或是起碼把如龍port到PC上
再來討論他講的話吧

市場佔有率從2000 年的58%增加到2002 年的63%, 2004 年更將達到66%;再看
全球第一大遊戲市場--美國,1996 年PC Game 與Video Game(含TV Game 與
Handheld Game) 的銷售額比例為1:1.22,到了2001 年演變為1:2.63,2002
年則是高達1:3.93(詳見圖4-2-1),凸顯了PC Game 式微的現象
