I still want to tell you that we are very confident with our data and the conclusions we have drawn for the CELL paper. I just don't know why some of you guys are so hostile and mean to us. Some of you guys are even very impolite. I don't know what is the problem with your ethic education in China. Maybe some of you guys are professional in handling photoshop to fabricate your own data. But we never thought of using this kind of trick to modify our data; it is also unnecessary for us to do this kind thing because we are faithful and sincere to our work. I must tell you guys that I have been working in sigma factor for about 18 years. We have already had the expertises to tackle a lot of problem in sigma studies. Do you think that only you guys are competent? The data that we showed on the CELL paper are done by my students; they have magic hands in handling footprinting and KMnO4-primer extension analyses. Moreover, the data are reproducible. Don't you think that we deserve a publication in CELL? Are you guys experts in this field? If not, how can you guys judge thing only with your shallow knowledge background and prejudice. If you are in this field, your actions on the web are disappointing. I feel pity on you guys. Don't be too proud and confident of yourselves. You never know what you don't know. If our data and conclusions are finally proved to be true. Then, what will be your responsibility for accusing us. Can I just call you scientific criminals because some of you guys deliberately twisted the truth. We welcome the constructive discussion but the atittudes of some of you guys are unacceptable. We don't need to provide any explanation to you guys. We welcome you to contact the CELL editor.
