Let A be a real matrix and consider the function f(x)=<x,Ax>,x 屬於 S. Suppose a 屬於 S and there exists a positive number δ s.t. f(a)≧f(x) for all x 屬於 S satisfying ∥x-a∥≦δ. Can we conclude that f(a)≧f(x) for all x 屬於 S ?
