[機統] 非連續函數及混合型機率分布的期望值
又來和這邊的鄉民們求教了, 算了很久算不出來..
The life lengh Y of a component used in a complex electronic system is known
to have an expontial density with a mean of 100 hours. The component is
replaced at failure or at age 200 hours, whichever comes first
(a) Find the distribution function for X , the length of time the component is
in use.
ans : F(x) = \ 0, x < 0
/
{ (1/100) * exp(-x/100), 0<=x<200
\
/ 1, x>=200
(b) Find E(x)
ans : 86.47
(a)題目可知Y~exp(B), 期望值=100=B
雖然說這是非連續函數及混合型機率分布, 但實在想不出來怎麼定義
由於不太清楚f(x)的要怎麼定義, 所以我把f(y)加上 f(y)=0 , y>= 200 視作f(x)
但0<=x<200積上去是1-exp(-x/B), 做不出(1/100) * exp(-x/100)的答案
後面x>=200積上去也不會是一, 顯然要寫成F(x) = c1F1(x) + c2F2(x), 但就是不會轉
呀(慘叫
(b)因為拆不成F1(x)F2(x), 期望值我只想到連續函數期望值的定義: x*f(x)的積分去做
但f(x)算不出來=_=
