then |f(x+h)-f(x)| <= |h||g(x+g)-g(x)| ( g=1 if x>0, g=-1 if x<0)
just need to take |h| <= e/Max(1, |g(x+g)-g(x)|).
then |f(x+h)-f(x)| <= e
