（第一次PO文 如果不妥還請板主告知 感激不盡） 大概是去年夏天的事情了, 男友家整理阿公遺物的時候忽然發現一包信, 打開一看不得了, 是男友阿公在1939年（當年約15歲）寫給Lou Gehrig的信 阿公在信上拜託Lou Gehrig幫忙蒐集1923-1939年間大聯盟各種球員簽名 於是...非常溫馨的Lou Gehrig親筆回了信給阿公！還附上了他幫阿公搜集到的簽名！！！ 雖然男友家的長輩最後決定要把這些簽名送出去拍賣 QQ 但家裡的每個人都非常興奮也很希望能把這個小小的驚喜分享給廣大的球迷們 以下是男友的分享, (FB: http://tinyurl.com/hj595am) n 1939, my grandfather, Tom Jacob, was 15 and living in Reading, Massachusetts. He was a stamp collector and a baseball fan. 1939 was also the Centennial Year of baseball and the Baseball Hall of Fame was having a big centennial celebration. Tom started on a project. He wrote to Lou Gehrig, the presidents of the American and National Leagues, the managers of all 16 baseball teams (8 American League, 8 National), and some others to collect autographs. In the end, he received lots of autographs, incuding a page with the signature of every living Hall of Famer, every AmericanLeague MVP, every National League MVP, and signatures of lots of players (not all players) from every one of the 1939 American and National League baseball teams. The coolest thing in the collection is a letter Tom wrote to Lou Gehrig explaining his project. Lou Gehrig turned it over and wrote him a letter on the back. There are actually two letters from Lou Gehrig in the collection. The Entire collection is finally listed for the Heritage Auctions "Platinum Sports Auction" coming up on the 25th of Feb. The auction company has compiled tons of great images of the collection if you want to check it out. Its super rad.
