(原文太長刪刪刪~sorry) 我覺得歌詞不需要一句一句翻譯耶~ 整首歌只是要塑造出"父母不和成天爭吵，年幼的JM被忽略"的意境。副歌中的love for child應該是指雖然年幼的他因為父母爭吵而疏於關懷，但他寧可相信父母這樣做都是因為愛他。我在網路上看到一篇專訪 http://www.mytelus.com/music/interview_details.do?id=752827 One of your songs on the new album, “Love for a Child,” makes reference to your parents’ divorce. Were you worried about hurting their feelings when you recorded that? 問：你新專輯裡的一首歌"Love for A Child"是以你父母離異為背景寫的，你會擔心收錄這首歌而傷害到他們嗎？ I was. I certainly was. I was scared. I mean, I never really confronted them about that, instead I just moved out at 18 and never went back. But, with the song I realized that there’s nothing for me to feel guilty about, because they really did what they needed to do to give me a great life.
