官網有個很平淡的聲明 https://www.cardiffphilharmonic.com/future-concerts 不管官網還是Newsweek的報導，我看到的部分所提及的是將1812序曲移除表演名單 On Wednesday, Wales' Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra announced it would be removing Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture" from a March 18 concert. 而 Newsweek 那篇報導裡面有說明更多原因: The "1812 Overture" was written to celebrate Russia's defense against the invasion of Napoleon, and is notable for featuring a barrage of cannon fire in its composition. 1812 序曲原本是為了慶祝俄羅斯成功抵抗拿破崙入侵所創作的。其中一個著名特色是會配合砲聲 The director for the orchestra, Martin May, told Newsweek, "The decision on this concert was very much based on here and now. A member of the orchestra has family directly involved in the Ukraine situation and we are trying to respect that situation during the immediate term.
