六月是美國的LGBTQ （男女同性戀、雙性戀、跨性別者和酷兒）驕傲月。美國人和世界各
地千百萬人在這個月份舉行遊行慶祝。我們深信LBGTQ權利就是人權。四年前的6月26日美
國最高法院承認同性戀伴侶有結婚的權利。也因此在今年的同一個日子AIT將舉辦一個慶
祝活動來歡慶這個里程碑，並且恭賀台灣也達成婚姻平權的目標！有興趣參加慶祝活動的

June is LGBTQ Pride Month in the United States. Americans and millions of
people around the world celebrate lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and
queer (LGBTQ) pride during this month. We believe that LGBTQ rights are human
rights. Four years ago on June 26, the United States Supreme Court recognized
the right of same-sex partners to marry. Thus, on the same day this year, AIT
will hold a reception to celebrate this milestone and congratulate Taiwan on
also achieving marriage equality. If you are interested in joining this
