"inside" 代表並不能在正方形表面 (surface) 上
而在表面上的三角形，一個面總共有 4 種可能
(4 個點當成等腰直角三角形的直角點) 六個面有 24 個可能
所以你的計算基本上沒錯 但算的是此題不是 inside 的所有可能性
所以答案為 1 - [24/C(8, 3)] = 4/7
