2: something of great worth or value
3: a collection of precious things
: something offensive to view <the old factory has become an eyesore>
Treasures are valuable objects, especially works of art and items of
historical value.
ex: The house was large and full of art treasures.
You describe a building or place as an eyesore when it is extremely ugly and
you dislike it or disapprove of it.
ex: Poverty leads to slums, which are an eyesore and a health hazard.
ex: Eyesore that has turned into a treasure

ex: No longer an eyesore, Cumbernauld is now a national treasure
- just ask the United Nations

: treasure <> ruin ,eyesore
: tender : disengage
