如果比較結構句型其中一個變因是在時間, 會寫成than it/they + 助/be 的結構，這時
候的代名詞it/they指代對象要去找前面句子的主詞，也就是costs，不過這樣proportion
和costs就沒有可比性

a proportion的確是half of the spending的同位語。

基本上比較結構請注意，美加的莫老有說過"硬梆梆比較"，也就是有辦法還原成兩個完整
句子，我把兩個句子還原如下:
a proportion is great in the presidential campaign of 1992.
a proportion is great in any previous election.
這裡是走S+be+adj結構，a proportion is great，只是這樣的結構可以簡化為
a great proportion，兩句比較就變成:
a greater proportion than (a great proportion) in any previous election，前面
出現過的相同資訊a great proportion按照GMAT省略原則省略掉了，變成正確答案:
a greater proportion than in any previous election，希望這樣解釋可以讓您清楚理
解。
