我原本的理由不夠好 謝謝你指出來
D 真的很吸引人 好像不少人選
因為唸起來好像可以通 但是有兩個問題
1. what 可以是先行詞或relative pronoun(這就是你說的可以引導)
-> ambigous 或 歧義(ETS不喜歡歧義)
(ETS喜歡用multiple meaning作為錯誤選項 其中一個意思會讓你覺得OK
不知道它有別的意思 通常就掛了)
2. 代進去 distort meaning
the price of what the drug's maker charges for product
"what" refers to "price" 因為the price是what的先行詞
換一種組合來看 what the drug's maker charges for
what又等於價錢 意思變成 "價錢是藥商 charges for" ....?
-> awkward
其實我看歪國人的討論
根本就不用這麼麻煩 他們光看句意就知道
The price refers to the price of another product with the same active ingredient.
So “that” should be used to modify “the price”
