Rangers OF Josh Hamilton out with sore shoulder SURPRISE, Ariz. (AP)—Texas Rangers center fielder Josh Hamilton(notes) has missed regular drills at spring training because of a sore left shoulder. Hamilton had X-rays on his shoulder Thursday and the results were negative. The 29-year-old Hamilton was hurt when he dived for a ball during a popup drill Wednesday morning. He says he simply lost his balance. The slugger iced his shoulder much of the rest of the day and is listed as day-to-day. Hamilton was limited to 89 games last season by injuries.
