With the development of computer, there is a great deal of computer
games in the market. But is this good for children? Some people believe it is
not, but as the saying goes “every cloud has silver linings.”
First, playing computer games can inspire the children's creativitive.
Most of the games areabout fantastic story and interesting charactors. It let
children to have a place to dream and imagine. This is the bright side to the
computer games.
The type of the games, however, should be choosen by their parents. For
example, some restricted games may hurt the children's development. Parents
should pay attention to it.
Second, some computer games needs the players to spend a lot of time on
it. This may sacrifice the children’s study time . Also it is easily
addicted, thus ,, children will sit in front of the computer to much, instead
of going out or chat with their friend. And as a result,children might become
the social outcast.
Third, most of the students has weak eyesight, andplaying computer
games might be one of the major factors.For the goodsake of the children's
health and to ensure the learning, parents can make a rule of the time they
use the computer. If the children behaves well, parents can let them play
the computer games, otherwise not. In conclusion, computer games has
two sides. When the parents take good advantage of it, it may be positive to
their children. On the other hand, it may cast a negative factorand threaten
their children's academic performance and health. Therefore, the important
thing is not how to prohibit childrens on playing computer games,but how well
the parents control and choose.
