Unless the registrant is informed by the DEA that the permission to keep
central records is denied, the registrant may begin maintaining central
records 14 days after DEA receives this notification. Central recordkeeping
requirements are described in 21 C.F.R. § 1304.04. Central recordkeeping
permits are no longer issued by the DEA.
