Re: [文法] 這個問題@@
※ 引述《ntust661 (Enstchuldigung~)》之銘言:
: The new regulation from the Department of Transportation requires
: a change in the manner "in which" rest time is calculated for commercial
: vehicle drivers.
: 請問為什麼要用 in which 呢,對於 manner 來說 應該是接 that
: 才是吧@.@...
: 以前學 in which 似乎就是等於 where....
: 可是 manner 應該不是指地方吧!

我夢到在<<Practical English Usage>>有提到
1.Way can mean 'method','manner'or'route','road'. In a informal style we
usually drop the preposition in or by before way.
e.g. You are doing it (in) a wrong way.
e.g. Do it (in) any way you like.
2.relative structures
In informal relative structures,(that) is often used instead of
the way in/by which.
e.g. I don't like the way (that) you talk to me.
e.g. Let's go the way (that) we went yesterday.
