國泰和英航的關係或許正如原po所說,正在產生裂痕,但是否是如原po所述的"國泰對
英航的合作相當吝嗇,這句話應不乏蹊蹺。畢竟兩間都算是航空翹楚,決策定經過層層商
討,國泰不懂得和氣生財就夠令人不解了,遑論老牌的英航會犯下如此低級的錯誤。
BA's need for Cathay feed beyond Hong Kong was in Cathay's favour. Cathay
was putting passengers onto BA's European flights, which are short,
typically no more than two hours. Cathay was keeping most of the revenue on
connecting itineraries. But BA passengers on Cathay metal within Asia and
beyond to Australia and New Zealand are on flights well beyond two hours.
For Australia and New Zealand, the connecting flight of at least eight hours
is relatively close to the Hong Kong-London time of about 12 hours. This
meant Cathay received a large amount of revenue from BA-sold tickets.
這是CAPA原文,原文中似乎沒有提到國泰航空只允許香港始發2小時內的航班與英航共
享,原文的意思應該是指,國泰利用英航在LHR的HUB作為其在歐洲的轉運站。但歐洲內主
要的接駁點到倫敦都少於2小時,反觀英航利用香港作為亞太的轉運站,香港到亞洲其他
主要城市大多大於2小時,遑論到澳洲與紐西蘭的接駁,這讓國泰因此獲益良多。

同意 S大H大 我不認為這是國泰的錯 只能說香港這個位置對英航來說比倫敦對國泰重要
畢竟倫敦再過去就是北美了 國泰自己飛美西的班次多如牛毛 沒飛的城市就找AA幫忙就好
也用不著分英航賺 但等國泰馬德里開通以後 或許南美洲的接駁會給IB做 這樣對IAG有交
待,鞏固合作關係。
