請問原po是申請需要進實驗室的科系嗎？
網路上可以看到對Bench fee的解釋如下：
Bench fees pay for the cost of consumable materials and other expenses
associated with the student’s research. Individual subject areas may
charge bench fees – please contact the relevant subject area.
也因此您所接觸的這位老師才會說需要再確認。
依照老師的回信看起來，她是有意願收你，所以才會說要在proposal上提到她。
多半是老師願意收就沒有太大問題，但系上的research committee會做最後決定。
