[閒聊] 分享一篇今天在1111上看到的徵求家教文
I would like to first apologize about what I’m going to say. I know this
will probably offend some of you. But since I’ve been getting so many
astonishingly unsatisfying applications, I feel I have the responsibility to
be clear on what kind of tutor I’m looking for. The very basics: if you are
incapable of carrying out a conversation in English with me, you shouldn’t
apply; if you are unable to introduce yourself in English without prior
preparation (memorizing the draft), you shouldn’t apply; if you are still
struggling on how to modify a verb, you shouldn’t apply; if you don’t know
how to modify a clause after a preposition, you shouldn’t apply. For the
last two, I’m not asking for grammatical explanations. I’m asking that you
know how to use them. I’m sorry if I’m being a jerk, but in order for you
to be able to teach, this is really the minima. I don’t ask you to analyze
Shakespeare and send me a paper. I’m only asking you to “know” what you’
re teaching. So for those of you, who have outstanding credentials, please do
not hesitate to apply. If you haven’t noticed, I don’t ask for your
teaching experience. As long as you have “passion“ in teaching, please
email me your application.
Just FYI: because my brother will be applying for his company scholarship to
hire the tutor, I will need your English resume with your photo attached.
Like I said, I’m currently not in Taiwan. All communication via email is
preferred.
時薪 400 至 800
====================================
話說,要求一個夠格的老師是也沒錯。但是時薪好像也不符他尋找的資格的老師 :P
