[問題] 獨立分詞構句(absolute participial
想請教各位一個關於獨立分詞構句的問題:
My sister being ill (As my sister was ill),we stayed at home.
The agent being absent (As the agent was absent),the business was suspended.
請問以上2句的"being"可以省略嗎?
我不太確定~因為我查到的資料只說在It being和There being的情況下being不能省略
Ex:
It being too late (As it was too late),we left the party.
There being no taxi (Because there was no taxi),we had to work.
而這兩句的being就要保留
關於如何使用獨立分詞構句不是很了解,請各位多多指教囉~
